Electric Vehicles

Electric Vehicles (EVs) are vehicles that are powered entirely or partially by electric motors, using electricity stored in batteries or obtained from external power sources. Unlike traditional internal combustion engine vehicles that run on gasoline or diesel, EVs convert electrical energy into mechanical energy to drive the wheels. They can be classified into several categories, including battery electric vehicles (BEVs), which operate solely on electric power, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), which combine an electric motor with a conventional internal combustion engine. EVs are known for their potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, decrease dependence on fossil fuels, and offer quieter operation compared to conventional vehicles. The rise of electric vehicles is supported by advancements in battery technology, increasing charging infrastructure, and growing environmental concerns, leading to a transition towards more sustainable transportation options.
